The UK Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) has released an app for citizens that receive welfare payments. Welfare recipients can opt to download the app which allows them to receive and manage the money they receive. The information available on this project is very thin in detail. There is no information about the technical aspects of the implementation, we don't even know which blockchain platform is being utilized.
